By combining styling & plastic arts - the major disciplines during her study - artisan Aurélie Lassoutière gives birth to an imaginative variation of working with « silk paper ». A material she loves to use, strengthened by her sensibility for the Japanese universe, their style, decoration, designs, poetry….In 2003, after 4 seasons of jewellery design for the fashion shows of designer Christian Lacroix, she decides to register her own brand « Auré Li. »; the trademark for her original collection. All jewellery and accessories are handmade and one by one unique pieces. The base for her designs is the silk paper; a material that she processes and styles into various shapes which then get decorated by small odds and ends, like lace, mousseline, tulle, feathers, strass and ribbons. The whole collection of Auré Li. presents a spirit of poetry, femininity and romance.
