Château Balsamine ~ Gaillac ~ Tarn

Château Balsamine
The wine district of "Gaillac" is located 50 km Northwest of Toulouse and is one of the oldest vineyards in France. Already famous for its white wines, today they also surprise with their excellent red wines. Château Balsamine is only 3 km away from the little village Gaillac right in the middle of the first hillside "Gaillac". Our vineyard is grown and maintained exclusively based on ecological principals and we work our vines with respect for the soil they grow on. This passion is reflected in the taste of our various wines: "full of fruits, complex and very tasteful".
Red and rosé wines
Our red wines certainly stand out because of the surprising combination of blackcurrant, raspberries, gooseberries and herbs.
Our rosé wine, made from our local species of grapes “Syrah” is intensely fruity and fresh, which makes it an excellent aperitif.
White wines
Our dry white wines, made from the famous “Sauvignon” grapes, have a fresh taste with an unmistakable touch of citrus fruits (lemon, grapefruit).
Our sweet white wines will no doubt surprise you by their complexity and the fragrance of honey. Truly a wine that makes a beautiful combination with a strong French cheese, like Roquefort and
of course with our local “foie gras”.
Products: A.O.C. Gaillac wines (red, rosé, dry and sweet white wines).
