Netty van ’t Hoff is an artist, both in heart and soul. Right after her fashion designing study at the "Art Academy” in Rotterdam and the "Ecole de Coupe Guerre Lavigne" in Paris, Netty started her own "haute couture" studio in Rotterdam. Netty now lives in the Lot department in France for a considerable number of years, where she became interested and involved by the creation of historical costumes for theatre plays. Fascinated by the beauty and complexity of the original costume patterns and designs, she performed a thorough research over the years. This knowledge enabled her to make this subject her unsurpassed specialty.

Maison des Arts et du Costume. During the passed 25 years her creations are wanted and used by international dancing and theatre groups all over the world.

An important part of her design collection can be seen in a permanent exhibition at the "Maison des Arts et du Costume" in Autoire; a museum founded and ran by herself to promote the real art of costume design and to organize workshops. The work for her museum does not withhold her to continue her talented costume design activities in the ambiance of her cosy studio in Saint-Céré. On the internet site of the association you will find additional information and pictures.
