I am a french artist living from my creations for 20 years. Living and creating in the southwest of France, I spend my time between the ocean and my workshops in different countries: Toscana for white marmors and Brazil for its Granits and the precious woods that the country has to offer. The materials chosen are linked to the different themes I want to develop and express through my sculptures.

My work is exposed in several Art Galleries in Europe and in the USA.

I would be glad to meet you at my workshop in Saint Julien en Born (Landes, France) and it
would be my pleasure to share the way we see the world and how it affects my creations. It is indeed a challenge for artists to share the contemporary culture, especially in an off-centered region of France.

Directions: A63-N10 Bordeaux-Bayonne, exit 14 Onesse-et-Laharie/Contis Plage, D38- Mézos- D66 Saint Julien en Born, follow direction Mimizan via Route des Lacs, after 400m, after pharmacy first turn left, Route du Sable Blanc. You will find Bernard Abtey workplace after 300m at your left hand side next to Le Centre de Secours.
